UPDATE 11/27/05 - Mya is doing great! She has been with us for a month and has adjusted very well to her new
life. She loves to be around her daddy and 5 year old brother. She looks forward to the weekends to see her 9 year
old sister. Mommy takes pretty good care of her during the week while daddy is out on the road. She is a great
family dog. She spends most of her days laying around the house. She is not highly active as most boxers seem
to be. We are glad we have chosen Mya to be a part of our family!

UPDATE 10/30/05 - Mya is doing wonderful. She was extremely nervous on the ride home, but we got her home
and she went right to sleep. The next day she woke us up at 7.I took her for a walk and fed her. She has been
eating good since the first day.She really enjoys the kids and my wife really enjoys her too.She is a wonderful little
girl (a little bit of a baby), but we wouldn't have it any other way.We haven't signed up for obedience training yet, we
wanted her to get settled in first, but will sign up as soon as possible. Thank you so much for everything that you
have done. You really have given us the perfect little girl for us and we rally appreciate that and everything that you
do to help out all of the boxers that need your help. Thank You.

10/22/05 - Mya has been adopted!

10/21/05 - Mya has been with us for almost a week.  She is just so sweet.  Very fond of men and children.  She
was very close to the man of the house and the son.  When my husband or son come home she get so excited.
She enjoys spending time with me. I was watching an American Bulldog about 9 months old and they played
together all week. They played like typical boxers without the noise.   Mya grew up with a cat in her former home.
Her owner said she always tried to play with it never hurt it. Unfortunately the cat was old an didn't want to play with
Mya. She is completely housetrained.(no accidents). She goes to the door or whines when she needs to go out. I
have not crated her as she does not need to be. She can be left alone. She enjoys playing ball or chewing on one
of the many bones here.  Mya also thinks she is a lap dog. As soon as I sit on the couch Mya sits right in my
lap.She is very affectionate. She does not jump on people she waits for them to say hello.  Please open your heart
and give her the forever home she so deserves.

10/16/05 - Mya just arrived at Seaside Boxer Haven a few hours ago.  As you can see, she is gorgeous.
Unfortunately her owners got a divorce and Mya could not fo with the husband who was the real animal lover.
Mya's mom thinks it would be better for Mya to have a family that will love her the way she deserves and have time
for her. Mya's skin brothers were devastated.  I'm told she is completely housebroken. So far no accidents here.
She knows her sit command. She lover children of all ages. She also loves being with other dogs. Mya has a white
chest and white paws.  She does the boxer wiggle and loves to give those boxer kisses. She is up to date and
already spayed.  All she needs now is a home to call her own.  Will update in a few days.
