UPDATE 8/08/05 - Hi it's Koosa reporting - I am just loving my forever home, my parents call me
spoiled (yes I am and who better for). I'm finishing up obienience training and I'm going to miss go to
that because I get to play afterwards with my classmates Renagade and Molly. My mom said that we
are going to get involed in a play group, she says she wants to keep me social and happy. I still get
very excited to see everyone that come down my 800 foot long driveway but, I do not jump on
anyone anymore I just wiggle like crazy.
UPDATE 6/02/05 - Month update, Koosa has adjusted very well in her new home. Her status here
is # 1 princess she has everyone wrapped around her paw. She is a little girl with a real big
personality quite the HAM. She loves to go for rides in the car and this past weekend she met her
cousins Cleo and Tessa two Bassett hounds and they all enjoyed each others company. She also
loves to go for her morning walk with mommy and play with daddy in the afternoons before everyone
comes home for the evening. She has learned her boundaries in the yard and loves to play and
explore the outside. (She has made such a wonderful addition to the family).
UPDATE 5/7/05 - Maricusa (Koosa) is adjusting very well in her new home. She absolutely loves
her new Daddy, two new (human) sisters and of course her new mommy. She listens very well, very
eager to please, and is learning English quite well. She is very interested in her surroundings coming
from the city to the country and she just loves the space she has to run and play. She visited her new
veterinary on Friday morning and did excellent.
4/30/05 - Maricusa has been adopted!
04/25/05 - My name is Maricusa. Pronounced MAREEKOOSA. My friends call me Koosa. I've
been living with a spanish speaking family. I know my commands in spanish. Foster mom is teaching
them to me in english. I guess that will make me a bi-lingual boxer. How many other dogs can say
that. I came to seaside Boxer Haveen Sunday morning. So far its been great. There are three resident
boxers here. I found plenty of toys to play with. My favorites are handballs, tennis balls and big
basketballs. I also like my squeky toy. Last night we had alot of company for dinner. Was I lucky. I
got turkey and brisket with my dinner. I'm really a very good dog. I'm housebroken, don't go on the
furniture, didn't steal the turkey on the counter, and go in my crate when told. I did bark for a few
minutes then went to sleep for the night. Did I mention I have the cutest face. Foster dad says I'm
adorable. (he's right). I can keep myself busy with my toys for hours.I'm going to the vet tomorrow
for all my shots and to be spayed. I'll then be ready for a forever home. Pleasge get your applications
