10-25-05 - Fraiser made me promise to send in another update today. He is wondering why his
forever family has not found him yet. He is a beautiful boxer boy with lots and lots of wiggles. He gets
along with
others very well unless they are a cat and he is very well behaved. He may need a little brushing up
with his obedience training, but not much. He isn't much of a jumper and knows what is his to play
with and what he should leave alone. Fraiser is just a very happy-go-lucky wigglely kinda boy who is
very anxious to give his new family all his love. So why haven't you called yet?
10-19-05 – Fraiser continues to do well in his foster home. His appetite showed up a few days
after arriving and he is doing fine now. He appears to get along with everybody in the house except
the cat. Although he is not the worst I have seen, he probably would prefer to not share his forever
home with any feline brothers or sisters unless they want a good chase. He does love to play with my
boxer Bailey and is good with my other boxer Dudley the two SCBR boxer volunteers. He stays in
his crate during the day while I’m at work and goes in very nicely. He enjoys peanut butter
Kongs and listens quite well, but could possibly use a refresher on some obedience training. He
doesn’t “down that great. He seems very willing to please though. He is very energetic
and I think would be happiest in a home with another boxer who would like to play. He loves to box.
He doesn’t seem to jump up on me very often and appears to be a happy-go-lucky kinda guy
just patiently waiting for his forever home to find him. Get your applications in soon, he won’t be
around long.
10-10-05 – Fraiser has been returned to rescue after almost a year due to reasons beyond his
control—his owners are moving and he will be unable to go with them. He arrived at my house
Saturday morning and what a beautiful boy he is. I mean he is knock down gorgeous!!! I have not
had too much time to get to know him yet, but so far he has been a very good boy and is getting to
know the others in the house. He has the softest and shiniest fur ever and is just a gorgeous happy-
go-lucky little guy. He is a little nervous still so he has not been too hungry yet, but I was able to
finally entice him with a peanut butter stuffed bone this morning that I was happy to see he was
enjoying prior to my leaving for the work day. It is very normal for new fosters coming in to not be in
the mood for eating for a few days. He seems to be enjoying the others he is sharing the house with
and making a great new start. This young one is not going to last long at all. Despite all the changes,
he still has that wiggle going.
11/21/04 - Fraiser was adopted!
11/14/04 - Frasier is a beautiful fawn owner surrender. He was surrendered to rescue due to the
family not being able to move to a larger home. They felt Frasier needs more room to run and play.
Frasier sure is enjoying the fenced yard since he got here. He has made fast friends with Clay and
they play non stop. So far Frasier has been a pleasure to have around. He was wonderful in the car
ride here. He loved the kids when he met them. He did bark in the crate for a while but settled down
nicely. We will update you as we get to know him.
