UPDATE 8/11/05 - Casco is growing SOOOOO fast now. He
is a total love and can't get enough of being close to (or on top of)
anyone who will play with him. His energy is endless and his personality
can't be beat. He's always wagging and happy. He totally adores his big
(step) sister, Tucker. Although she's much older (9), they play so well
together and she keeps a watchful eye on him and lets us know when he's
getting in to trouble. We took Casco on his first camping trip last
weekend and was awesome. Everything he smelled was a new experience and
I'm sure quite overwhelming for his little sniffer! He loves being in a
tent and cuddling in sleeping bags. He's also quite the swimmer and
loves jumping off rocks in to the deep water and swimming! He has lots
of very good doggie friends including the new puppy across the street
from us - who comes over to our yard for play dates so the two can run
out of energy! 'Til next time...
UPDATE 7/12/05 - Casco is now 4 months old and he's having so much fun with his new family.
His (much) older sister, Tuckerman (is 9) has adapted to having the young energy around and
they play together all the time. Tuckerman taught Casco how to swim last week when we took him
down to our lake and now Casco LOVES to jump and play in the water. He loves sitting on the
boat and took to it quickly - like it was his calling. Tuckerman has taught him everything, like our
property boundries, how to sit and how to say please. He's very social and loves other people,
kids and dogs. He plays hard and sleeps hard too! He is growing so quickly and has big paws -
we think he might be a big boy when he grows up! He's happy, healthy and the biggest love ever!
UPDATE 6/8/05 - Casco is doing AWESOME! Thank goodness for having our older 8-yr old
boxer; Tuckerman - she's teaching him so much. Casco is a big love, lots of puppy kisses all the
time. We took him to the beach for his first trip last weekend and he loved it. He gets along really
well with other dogs too, like most puppies, Casco thinks he's full grown! And like most boxers,
he's a lap dog! We take him down to NH all the time to visit with my parents 2 yr old boxer and my
sisters 2 9-week old puppies. We're a boxer family! More stories to follow.
5/11/05 - Dakota has been adopted!
5/9/05 - Dakota is one of Dolly's boxer puppies. He is pending adoption & going home this week!
