6/30/05 - Hi all, I have Chloe here, she is a new foster that came in as an owner surrender. She caught a ride
up with the gang from the Newark shelter and arrived really scared. We have given her a few days and with the
help of the other dogs and the kids she has come around. Chloe is a 14 month old fawn boxer girl with a really
sweet face. She is crate trained and housebroken, walks well on a leash and has apparently had some
obedience training as she has the basics. She has only been here since the weekend but in that time we have
seen a little bit of her personality start to come out. I think Chloe would do really well in a home with another dog.
She gained a great deal of confindence after being with our dogs most of the day. Chloe also seems to really
love kids. She is a little reserved still but I can tell she is going to be a typical boxer youngster as she settles in.
Chloe is going to need a home with people that will be patient with her and let her adjust at her own speed and
get to know them slowly. I think an experience boxer or dog owner would be best. Chloe goes to be spay on July
6th and brought up to date on all her shots. If you are interested in this girl get those applications in today she is
a cutie.
