11/17/05 Meet Champ - he is an energetic little doll! Whatever you do, DO NOT be put off by Champ's age as he is
a little lightning bolt! He is filled with energy and kisses and wiggles and loves to play and dance around. He
doesn't wear out easily and could likely keep up with even a quite young dog, and definitely a dog 3 or more. I had
him neutered the day after he came in and he was bouncing off the walls by night time like nothing had happened
at all! I've watched quite a few dogs recover after surgery, and I have never seen one regain full energy so quickly!
Champ is sad and is showing some signs of separation anxiety right now but I'm sure when he settles in he will
be just fine. He lived a very good life with his previous owner, but she sadly needs to move into assited living and
was heartbroken to give him up. So Champ is very confused right now, but friendly and playful as can be. He is a
very good boy with good manners and listens well. He responds very quickly to voice, the sound of his name and
knows "sit" very well. Pull out a treat and he knows just what to do! We have been told that he will steal food when
he gets a chance, which is pretty normal if you ask me, and that seems to be his only bad habit. If you think
"seniors" are slow moving couch potatoes, think again!! Champ is here to prove that age is relative and that loving
life and having fun will keep you young. He's a smart guy with great personality and lots of love to give. He's ready
to find his new forever home so that he won't be sad anymore. Get your apps in on this guy - he's very special and
