UPDATE 6/3/05 - Hi SCBR, Brandon continues to do well here. He is a terrific little guy and we have
adjusted to his food aggressiveness and have him leashed in the kitchen away from the other dogs until
all are done eating. He doesnt seem to mind this and goes and sits on his little rug and waits for the leash
and food. He has a very healthy appetite and has not missed a meal sisce he has been here. He loves to
sleep in bed next to me or my husband with his head on the pillow and all snuggled up. He will stay like
that all night and not move. He hates to get up in the morning and sometimes we literally have to drag
him out of bed. We have been having some problems with his eye and have been to the vet several
times. He has been on several medications and may need some minor surgery next week if it is still not
healing. He is just adorable and gets along with all the other pups. We love him very much. Thanks
SCBR

UPDATE 5/3/05 - Brandon is doing well here in his new home> We love him dearly. He is so tiny and
such a little peanut compared to our other dogs. He loves to sleep between my husband and me in the
bed and even likes to sleep under the covers, but boy can he snore. He is just adorable!!! Thanks again
SCBR

04/01/05 - Brandon has been adopted!!!

03/12/05 - Brandon has been at our house for a couple of months now and is a complete joy. He loves
to cuddle and will sit on the floor in front of my chair and tip his head up and wait for a kiss. He loves
my 10 year old son and has been great with him but he should go to a home with no children because he
gets too excited when he plays. I think a man in his past may have taught him to wrestle because he can
get a little out of hand if my husband plays with him. This is something we have been working on with
him and he is getting much better. We have been teaching him to play fetch and recently we got a laser
pointer and he loves to chase the dot all around the house. This is a wonderful boy who just needs a
family with the patience to teach him the right way to burn off his energy. Brandon is overall a very easy
dog. He loves everyone he meets and is very eager to please. He is completely crate trained but I think
he would behave himself very well if he were left uncrated at all times. When we were on vacation he
was kenneled and the caretakers at the kennel loved him. I just cannot describe how great this boy is.
He really deserves a family of his own.

02/21/05 Brandon has been at my house for a couple of months and unfortunately I have not had a
chance to update him. He has been wonderful the whole time he has been here. He was originally
moved from he last foster home because of some medical issues. We thought he might need surgery on
his leg but after seeing a specialist we were told his leg was very stable and he would not need any
treatment for it. Brandon gets along with all the other dogs in the house and has fit in very nicely. He
loves to cuddle and often sits in front of my chair in the evening and tips his head up for a kiss. The only
thing Brandon is lacking is a family of his own that will love and spoil him the way he deserves.

12/20/04 Happy Birthday to Brandon who turned 7 on December 18th!!!  He enjoys his Nylabones
that he got as a birthday present!!  He also enjoys toys but is afraid of squeaky toys!!  lol
Brandon (also known as Mr. B) is doing great!!  He has a few medical issues and will be moving to a
new foster home for treatment at the end of the month.  Right now he is receiving treatment for an ulcer
on his eye that is healing.  He sits perfectly for me when I put his drops in!!!
We had a birthday party 12/18 for my daughter and there were about 30 people at our house.
Brandon was very excited with all of the people there and was very friendly and spent the evening
running from one person to the next to get some love!!  He did great with all people ranging from 1 to
85!!!  Everyone loved him as well and commented on what a good boy he is and how well behaved he
is.
Brandon is a very mellow boxer and sleeps most of the time.  He still has had no accidents at all while
here and likes his short walks throughout the day.  He also is able to use the 10 x 10 kennel in the
backyard that is our designated "potty area".  It took him a while to figure out what he is supposed to
do in there but has learned that once he does his business he gets to come right back out to play!!
Brandon plays very gentle with me and both my children.  He appears to want to play very rough with
men and gets himself a little overexcited!  He starts to growl and tries to wrestle.  Once Brandon starts
the growling my husband will stop playing with him and tell him to be quiet and sit.  It took a while but
he is listening well now!  All he needs to hear is "sit" and he stops immediately and sits down and waits
to be pet!  He learns quickly and is VERY eager to please.
We believe that Brandon will be fine with other dogs.  He has had one bad experience in the vet's office
with another dog.  He growled, etc. at the other dog.  He has met other dogs that he has been fine with
so we are assuming that maybe he was just stressed out from his vet visit.
He has started barking if he hears the doorbell and greets visitors with big sloppy kisses.  He is really a
big mush.  Brandon loves to snuggle and will climb up onto the bed at night and try to climb between me
and my husband.  He is a bed hog and will go back to his own bed when you make him!  He wakes my
oldest daughter up every morning with sloppy Brandon kisses!  He loves belly rubs!!  He loves to go for
rides in the car.  He likes his treats!!
If you are looking for a mellow boxer who loves everyone and really wants to be part of his family then
Brandon is the dog for you!!  (ALthough we are pretty sure that Brandon has no idea that he is a dog!!!)

12/7/04 - Brandon is an owner surrender due to a child's severe allergies.  Brandon is an extremely well
behaved boxer boy.  He has been with us since 12/5 and has not had any accidents in the house at all!
He has settled into our family routine with ease and is one of the most laid back boxers that I have come
across.  Brandon is excellent with children (ours are 5 & 1).  He is even able to fall asleep on the family
room floor amidst toys and kids making noise!!  He listens well and does not jump, counter surf, beg for
food or dig through the trash.  We have low windows and he likes to go from window to window
checking out what is going on outside.
When we are out of the house he is confined to the laundry room with a baby gate that I am sure he
could jump over if he wanted to but he is perfectly content to sleep on his bed while we are gone.  I am
pretty sure that he would be fine left on his own in the house and we will try that for short period of time
this weekend.  We are unsure how he is with other animals and will test that this weekend too.
