4/20/04 TOBY HAS BEEN HERE FOR A WEEK AND IS REALLY SETTLEING IN,
HE HAS A LOT OF PUPPY ENERGY TO BURN AND BOY DOES HE WEAR US
OUT!  NOT TO MENTION THE OTHER FUR KIDS!  HE SEEMS TO GET ALONG
WITH EVERYONE AND SOMETIMES HE CAN BE A LITTLE OVER BEARING
WITH THE OLDER DOGS BUT THEY GENTLY PUT HIM IN HIS PLACE!  HE
LOVES TO PLAY WITH THE ROPES THAT HAVE THE BALL TIED TO IT BUT I
HAVE TO WATCH HIM CAUSE HE PULLS THE STRINGS OFF AND I HAVE TO
HURRY AND SNATCH THEM UP BEFORE HE SWALLOWS!  BUT ALL IN ALL HE
IS A GREAT DOG AND IF YOU THINK YOU CAN KEEP UP WITH HIM GET
YOUR APPLICATION IN, HE'S WAITING PATIENTLY!

4/13/04- Toby has returned to the Sleepy-Howl!  What a pleasant
surprise for us, but a devastating decision for his dad.  Apparently Toby
was in a little tiff with his brother and mom felt it best if Toby return to
rescue.  He also has some crate issues and we will be working on that while
he is here.  Toby is already playing with the resident fur kids as if he
never left!  He is a beautiful fawn 20 month old neutered male with natural
ears and his tail is docked long.  He has been to the vet recently and has a
clean bill of health!  Toby wants me to tell you he has lots and lots of
energy to burn so if you think you can keep up with this gorgeous pup get
your application in soon!

Well, hello again from the Sleepy-Howl!  We are pleased to have a new guest here named
Toby!  Toby came to us from his owner who didn't have enough room for him in her apt. so
she called us.  She wanted what was best for Toby!  So, anyway here is the scoop on sweet
puppylicious Toby, he is a gorgeous fawn intact male with a black mask natural ears and a
long docked tail and full of energy!  I don't think anyone has taught him the word no, but he is
learning!  So far he is fine with the 6 other fur kin and 1 skin kid.  He is such a big baby and
will need lots of guidance, which he will get here at the Sleepy-Howl!  I called the boxer doc
and he is scheduled for a nip tuck Monday a.m.  With all his energy we may have to do some
obedience classes with him, he is all in all your typical rambunctious boxer pup.  Keep your
eyes posted on this one he won't be available long!  More to come as we get to know him
better.
