UPDATE 12/21/04 - 6 month update--All is well,   Sabrina likes to play in the
snow.  The kids toss snowballs and she tries to catch them.  Sabrina loves
attention and is like a shadow following us around.   She often goes to work with
my husband and everyone there loves her.

UPDATE 9/14/04 - Sabrina is doing great.   Now that it is dark early in the AM
and earlier in the PM we are seeing a side of Sabrina we were not aware of
during the summer--she is afrade of the dark.  60 pounds of chicken.  Loves to
ride in the car, loves people.  rarely barkes.   We could not be more pleased.

UPDATE 8/9/04 - Sabrine is a wonderful addition to the family.    We have
completed and passed the Canine Good Citizenship test and are waiting for our
certificate and tag.   We also have not received the SCBR Tag--hint hint.
Health is good, eating well and has put on a bit of weight.

UPDATE 7/7/04 - Sabrina had no problems fitting into our family.   She loves to
ride in the car, walk the beach and play in the yard with any family member that
will pay attention.  She has been to the vet, started on her heart worm
medication, vaccinated with a booster for lyme disease and had a lump aspirated
that proved to be nothing to worry about but watched for changes.  Sabrina is
showing signs of stiffness in her back legs so we have started medication for
arthritis as well.  Tonight is doggy class for obedience training.  Other dogs is our
only concern.   We have had her only a month and her reaction to other dogs is
inconsistent.  She is so gentle she will take a snack from our mouth.   She has
won over our extended family as well, we even had our 77 year old mother on
her knees feeding Sabrina snacks from her mouth.   She already knows her yard.
When we go to the side of the road for the mail she will stop, sit and not
approach the road.  She has no interest in people walking by the house.  We
have stopped placing a leash on her when we are out playing in the yard.   We
only use the leash for the beach, walks out of the yard and to practice our
obedience lessons.  She has a new create and we use that for short periods
when we need to leave her home.   She goes in without problem but would
prefer to be out with people.    She has gone to work a few time when the
location permits.  It took a few days to find the food she prefered.   She likes her
dog food with beef broth and a few cut up pieces of leftovers.   If leftovers are
not available a slice of bread broken up to soak up the broth.  She became
queen around here quickly.   One day I found her sleeping on the couch and my
husband napping on the floor.  She loves to cuddle.  She gets along well with our
cat, they pass each other without so much as a sidewards glance.
Sabrina does not give boxer kisses and that is OK with me but she gets people
kisses daily.   Sabrina is everything we could have asked for and we are so
happy to have her share our home.

UPDATE 7/7/03- Sabrina gets along great with all the dogs that are her size or
larger.  Sabrina does not like little dogs or cats and will pin them down and
growl,we have not let her go further then that. She had kennel cough upon
arriving and is currently being treated for it.  She loves to play tennis ball and will
bring it back to you if she wants to,otherwise she holds onto it and runs. She
loves cuddling with you and gives you kisses anytime. She snuggles into her
blanket and hides her head when sleeping. When she goes on her walks she will
pull but listens very well when you say easy and stays by you, shes definitly a
pleaser!! Sabrina also attaches herself to you very quickly getting very wiggley
when you come back in the room after leaving.  She would make a great loyal
friend who is quiet and snuggley inside and playful outside.
