9/29/04 Rocky is doing just great at his foster home. He is now enjoying the company of
all the boxer residents and is great with other dogs. He is a real happy guy and showers
you with kisses. He is eating twice daily and eats kibbled food and has no issues with
food with other dogs or people. He loves toys and is actually cleaning up our fenced in
area as he brings a different toy in the house everytime he comes in. He plays nicely with
the other dogs and still plays alot with Sunny the other boxer that came in with him.
Sunny likes to keep him in line and he just goes along with it. I think he likes to keep her
active and it is fun to watch. Rocky could be adopted alone as long as their is another
dog in the household. He loves the fenced in backyard where he will run and play and
just has a good time. We have had no accidents in the house and is very good in his
crate when we are at work. He loves marrow filled peanut butter bones as a treat when
he is crated. Rocky was very well taken care of and is really all ready for his new home.
He is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. Rocky knows basic obedience and
will do well to continue on with his knowledge through obedience. He loves attention
and will mature into a great friend. He would love to be a big part in a families life. He is
a love and certainly deserves his chance at a new home and family to love. We think he
is just terrific.
9/26/04 Rocky and Sunny have arrived at the Boxer'In. They both are an owner
surrender from a deaf young man who is moving to Ohio to an assisted living home. He
was very sad but he knows he did the right thing. They were both very well taken care
of and loved. Rocky is a neutered flashy fawn 1 yr old male with docked tail and natural
ears, and Sunny is a spayed fawn female 7 yrs old with a docked tail and natural ears.
Rocky is about 65 lbs and Sunny is a tiny little girl who weighs 40 lbs. She has lots of
spirit and keeps Rocky behaving himself. She looks so much like Cleo who was also
very tiny and has the very same pistol personality. Both a just great and love people.
