UPDATED 6/10/04 - Pebbles has settled in nicely she is putting on weight and got a
clean bill of health from the vet. she is very loving and is getting used to being crate
trained. she has established her place with rocky our 6 yr old 95lb boxer PEBBLES IS
THE BOSS and rocky knows it and is ok with it so far. we've had our trainer come to the
house and he has helped us to get pebbles to like the crate better and now we are
working on walking on a leash. She came to us knowing the basic commands sit, stand,
down and working on stay-she loves the shore just like the rock and really had a great
time on the beach running circles around rocky her enthusiasm in the morning is fun to
watch and is rubbing off on her older brother She has become a real joy and is loved by
all members of our family even the rockmeister although he wont admit it bye for now
the virone family
UPDATED - Pebbles has been adopted!
04/25/04- Pebbles has arrived here at her foster home..she was rescued and sheltered by
some lovely people from Massachusetts. She rode up to another foster home in southern
Maine last night and stayed over for a pajama party with her hostess. Pebbles is an
absolutely gorgeous fancy fawn with nicely cropped ears and a docked tail, which
appears to wag non-stop!
So far we have not found anything negative to say about pretty Pebbles. She is very well
behaved and calm...until you let her outside to play, then she becomes very playful and
puppyish. I introduced her to Brody, the big white boxer boy today and there is a love
match going on there already...she has also met up with Lucy our silly little puppy and just
wanted to play. We will try her with the cats soon ...More to come on this beautiful girl as
we get to know her better...get those applications in...this girl won't be here long!!!
