OSCAR (Kelso)
UPDATE 3/26/11 - Our boy is doing great. Grey fur has taken over his flashy fawn face. But he has lots of
bounce in his bounds. Great company for our 11 year old border collie Bosco...we treasure the day our friend
Gail Piza lead us to Second Chance
UPDATE 11/27/09 - Fantastic for a soon to be 6 year old. Thank goodness Gail Piza had on her boxer
pin that day. He's small and that works out well because he's such a lap dog.
Not the best direction follower but he has the basics.
A bit of arthritis in his left ankle...click click We're wanting a reverse brindle boy one day.
Oscar once Kelso was one of 4 male tailed puppies from NY We always wonder how the other three
are doing. We love that he has a tail a curly tail. Makes him that much more special.
It lends to his personality.
He's 6 on Thursday. We think.
UPDATED 08/25/04 - Oscar is 41lbs. Strong Long and Lean. Energy abounds as he blasts around the
yard chasing and being chased. Our border collie Bosco has lost 10lbs since Oscar arrived. He passed
his beginner obedience course but we think they graded on a curve. He is such a puppy. We and he
survived an allergic reaction to an insect bite. Hives travelled all over his body one section at a time. Poor
little fella. Benadryl helped. We wanna anotha boxa with a curly tail. How is Percy doing we wonder?
We live in the same city and nairy a glipse. Oh well................til next time.
UPDATED /16/04 - Oscar is 21 lbs. of boundless energy until it's naptime. Whew! This boy snores. He
is the star at Puppy Playpen and the pride and joy of Room 203 at Franklin Elementary. He attended his
first Fun Fair on Friday March 19th. Think we might have turned about 300 kids onto Boxers as pets.
Oscar has found his place in the hiararchy of our family. Bosco is boss and Max is Grandpa, but Oscar is
the baby and works it. He and Bosco are the best playmates. House broken (almost) crate trained,
socializing nicely with the furry kids at daycare. He sleeps about 6 hours from 11:30 our bedtime before
the whining for "out" starts. Then we do the puppy parade outside.
He has an issue with nipping and jumping up, but that will subside in time and training. WE are so in love
with this bouncing baby boy. So glad we got to meet his brother Percy at the PetSmart gathering on the
28 of February.
He has just discovered that Bosco our border collie has a lovely fluffy tail that can be quite playful and
chewy. Since he has a tail he has been chasing that too. Every day he reaches another milestone. Stronger
and more confident as the days pass. Thank you for seeing fit to giving him to us. Until Next Time.
UPDATED 2/27/04 - Kelso has been adopted!
