6/24/04- Moxie took a trip to see one of our favorite vet's and she is now UTD on all
vaccines, heartworm and lyme negative, her fecal check was clean,(well, you know what I
mean!) While we were at the vet's Moxie got to meet a couple of cats and a kitten...she
seems to just love them (especially the kitten!) Her tail was wagging and she nuzzled the
kitten. Moxie is now out of quarentine and will be introduced to our own dogs. I think she
will do great, she was all wiggly at the vet's when another dog walked thru the reception
area!
This pretty girl is ready to go home...well?...what are you waiting for?
6/17/04- I can't say enough good things about Moxie...she is a great puppy, has obviously
had some leash training..listens when you give commands and is just an all around wonderful
baby girl. She is quite playful, as she is a puppy...however,so far she has been excellent with
my 3 year old son...not too rough! Moxie is a big beautiful brindle girl with natural ears and a
tail!! That's right she has a long tail! If you love a wiggle butt dance without a tail, just wait
until you see what kinda dance this girl can do with a long tail...she is styling! She is quiet in
the kennel and quiet in the crate except for making sure you know when she has to go out
for her business... Poor baby has been quarantined for the whole week she has been here,
due to an unfortunate respiratory infection....She is responding now to the antibiotics and is
ready for a new family...How about a pretty lady that loves kids, adults, other dogs and so
far hasn't been overly excited by the cats! Of course she hasn't been feeling well either, so
we will put that to the test once she is back to 100% again!!! get those applications in, there
will be a waiting line for this beauty!!!
Moxie was a 1 yr old owner surrender to our favorite NJ shelter. Her family said she was
great with kids and good with other pets. SHe is a big girl without to many manners. She is
extremely friendly and will do anything to have her head scratched. She is oh natural with a
long tail and natural ears. I believe her to be full boxer and her owner stated she was but if
anything is mixed in it is mastiff as she is larger than most females. Moxie rode great in the
car and seemed to love meeting the kids. She spent a quiet night in her crate and seems to
be housebroken. We will update you as we get to know her better
