UPDATE 2/23/05 - Hurricane is happy and healthy...Still packing on pounds to where he should be, and
still a little skittish because of his up-bringing,(whatever that may have been), but we love him and he loves
his little chihuahua brother Ozzy...He can't wait for the N.H. winter to be over so he can enjoy his walks
and not be rushed!!

UPDATED 09-08-04 - Hurricane is doing great!!! Loves everyone!!!

UPDATE 7/24/04 Hurricane is doing great. Packing on the much needed pounds, and adjusting to our
6.5 pound chihuahua. (It's hard not to step on the little guy--take it from a 6'2" guy) Hurricane does alot
better job then I do at playing with him and not hurting him at the same time... The only funny story so far
is that it seems evident that he was from the city, because he has no problem with where he goes #2.
Whether it's in the middle of the street or on a ledge of a rock somewhere, he's going right there, and
don't try to move him 'cause you'll just have a trail from where he started and where he
ends.......................

6/04 - Hurricane has been adopted!

We'd like to introduce you to our new foster, Hurricane.  He's an almost 3 yr old fawn male with white
socks, tummy and a splash on his face.  He is an owner surrender and is still a bit unsure of us so we're
taking it very slow with him.  He is housebroken and crate trained, and really sweet and gentle.  He is very
scared, so we're taking things very slow with him.  He has met my boys, and so far is fine with them, but
my Sebastian is a bit too excitable for him right now so I only let them be together when I can watch.
He's great with my kids and my husband, but is very cautious of every little noise.  He's not eating real
well, but I think that will change when he settles in more.  We have an appointment on Saturday with the
vet so he can get his shots and heartworm test, and then he will be ready to go to his forever home!  I will
update again when he settles in, but don't wait too long to get your application in, because he won't be
here long!
