UPDATED 09-14-04  Dozer - aka Gin - "don't ask me where the nickname came from" continues to be
a spectacular addition. He has settled in very nicely and has become the star of the neighborhood.  He had
some medical issues that we needed to get taken care of but he seems to have rebounded quite nicely.
Dozer now loves to walk on the bike path and is keeping up with Gracie quite well. He has made many
friends on the bike path and everyone stops to see how Dozer is doing. He has become much more
playful in the past 2 weeks (once the antibiotics kicked in) and he and Gracie can frequently be found
having a major tug of war with a stuffed pink pig. He is eating well, he has had a few accidents in the
house but we are working on that. He is an incredible dog. Thank you so much for making this match to
our family - it is certainly a match made in heaven!

UPDATED 8/17/04 - What an experience this has been. We simply can't remember what it was like
before the newest member of our family moved in. You would think that he had been with us from Day 1.
He and his new sister Grace are completely inseperable. He is such a gentlemanly kond of guy. He is very
docile and probably doesn't play as much as Grace would like him to, but the company is enough to keep
her going. Dozer is getting into the routine. We've made the crate available to him but there has never been
a need for us to crate him. As a matter of fact, last week I gated him in his own room while I worked but
he quickly devised an escape route and since there is no reason whatsoever to think the two won't behave
themselves why we're gone, he has complete freedom inside. This weekend we introduced him to the river
and while curious, he was not overly impressed. He walks every morning on the bike path with Grace and
I, but it seems he is having some difficulty going the entire route. So we have cut back somewhat and each
day just go a litlle further. He is excellent on the leash. I have no complaints about anything with this big
smush of a boxer. Is there a way I can update the pictures so you all can see how he has settled in?
Thanks.

UPDATED 8/04 - Dozer has been adopted!

8/2/04- DOZER MADE HIS WAY TO US FROM A SHELTER IN CT AND IS AN AWESOME
DOG!  HE HAS BEEN HERE SINCE SATURDAY AND HAS BEEN GREAT WITH THE OTHER
5 DOGS AND MY 2 KIDS.  I'M NOT SURE IF HE EVEN KNOWS THERE IS A CAT HERE BUT
SO FAR SO GOOD!  HE IS NOT TOO FOND OF THE CRATE AND WILL WHINE A LITTLE
BUT HE WILL GO IN WHEN TOLD.  HE IS HOUSE BROKEN AND THERE HAVE BEEN NO
ACCIDENTS!  HE IS SUCH A GENTLE SOUL AND VERY LOVING, HE LOVES PUTTING HIS
HEAD IN YOUR LAP AND SNUGGLING IN BED.  IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A LOYAL
COMPANION DOZER IS YOUR DOG!
