UPDATED 2/28/04 - Just a quick note to thank you for meeting me in Syracuse, I really
appreciate it. Diesel is fitting in great, the kids love and he's awesome
with the baby. The other day at one point Diesel had Anthony's pacifier
in his mouth and Anthony had Diesel's nyla bone in his. Diesel starts
training in another week, hopefully it will help with the leash. He
really likes to tug and chew the leash. Just wanted to send you a quick
note. Thanks again and ride safe.

2/4/04 Greetings from the Pup Tent!  Does anyone remember about 2 or 3 Christmas'
ago when some of us (who will remain nameless) ran around like chickens with our heads
cut off to find our kids a furby?  Well, look no more!  Diesel comes with his very own
Furby!   He picks him up, shakes him for all he's worth, flings him in the air, picks him up
again and starts the whole process all over again.  It is a real laugher to watch.  This little
guy is so full of himself, he is such a good pup.  He is trying to figure out why his friend
Macaroni is leaving for his forever home before him, so I tried to explain to the little guy
that his special family is out there, they just might not know it yet! Diesel continues to be a
very good guest.  His potty training is going great, he eats like a champ and has no issues
except he doesn't willingly go into his crate, but then again, who would?
He's still looking for that family that has someone home most of the time, is it you?

1/25/04 Greetings from the Pup Tent and  Mr. Diesel!  Dies has been here a week now
and he makes everyone he meets smile or laugh.  He is just the cat's meow!  We think he
will be a big  adult as he weighed in at 34 pounds at 4 1/2 months and has these large
paws and long legs that he will grow into.  He is lovin life at the Pup Tent, he has one
Supreme to mother him, one that he can bark at and one that lets him lay all over her.
And then he has Macaroni to play with
ALL DAY LONG!  For the most part, he will go to the door and whine to
go out and will go to the door when he sees us sign for "good out".  He
still has the occassional accident.  He must be carried into the crate
and once in, he does bark for awhile but it's hard to settle down with
4 other dogs here. This pup is ready to go to a home where someone is
home most of the time as he is too young and requires so much hands on
training to be left alone each day.

1/18/04 The Pup Tent would like to introduce our newest guest, Diesel!  Diesel's owner
put an ad in the paper and the Pup Tent newspaper checker person saw it, called, talked
to Diesel's dad and to his credit, Diesel's dad decided that it was in Diesel's best interest if
he needed a new home that he go to rescue. This young man purchased Diesel as a pup
from a local breeder and within a week had spent quite a bit of money for medication and
vet visits to clear up an upper respitory infection. Diesel's dad had a change in his work
schedule and subsequently Diesel was spending alot of time in a crate and his person felt it
wasn't a life for a pup. Anywho, young Vin Diesel is 4 months old, brindle, black mask,
docked tail, natural ears and ALL puppy! Diesel is up to date on his puppy shots for now,
has had his rabies shot and needs to visit the boxer doxer to see if he can be neutered.
He will need to go to a home where someone is home most of the day.  Boxers this young
can't spend work hours in a crate.  He will need constant training and patience and will
reward his new family with a lifetime of love!
