2/29/04 Cracker has arrived back at the Upperfield...it seems that the cat she was living
with was not dog savvy enough to tolerate her presence. The poor kitty is 13 years old
and was not happy to have an intruder moving into her territory...so she would run and
Cracker thought that was great fun and off she would go to chase and play this wonderful
game. Cracker also showed a touch of separation anxiety in her new home and we believe
she should be placed with another dog. Cracker's mom was really sad to return her to
rescue. If you have a home with another dog, who may be looking for a playmate, to offer
this wonderful girl please apply quickly...she is too sweet to be here long!!!
02/04/04-Cracker arrived at the Upperfield a week ago and settled in for a rest. She had
very recently whelped a litter of puppies that did not survive and needed some R&R . She
was spayed on Tuesday and is ready to go to her forever home. Cracker came to us via a
wonderful local shelter where she was an owner surrender. She is a sweet little brindle girl
who has had a rough beginning,...she loves every one here,...Cracker has a docked tail
and natural ears...she is very petite and on the skinny side right now. She is loving all the
play and attention here......however, is just waiting for her family to come and take her
home...
