UPDATED 6/04 - Bridget has been adopted!
UPDATED 6/14/04 - We are so blessed to have Ms. Bridget become a new member
of our family. We've been waiting a while for her. She is an angel. She is the calmest
9 month old Puppy I've ever seen. She gets along great with our 4 1/2 and 5 1/2 year
olds and with our other boxer, Savannah. They seem to understand that I rule the roost
and neither feel the need to be dominant. She seems to be adjusting to us pretty well,
but she is quite attached to me specifically, which I think is great. She follows me
around and stays pretty close. She is awesome about going in her crate and
understands sit, lay, down and is catching on to speak....she'll do just about anything for
a treat! She loves being outside in the yard and she and Savannah definately get their
exercise! They play very well together. She is really very mellow and quite a mush!
She does the boxer wiggle when I call her name and is just adorable. She is very shy
of strangers, but hopefully, Savannah will break her of that. We are working on
housebreaking her, she has had a few accidents, unfortunately, it's because mom and
dad have forgotten how quick you have to be to get a puppy out after breakfast....no
dilly dallying with this girl. She is probably going to the vet this week for a check up
and we are also going to look into her obedience classes. Thank you!
