11/23/03 Shadow is doing well here with the other 5 dogs, we are currently trying to break
her of this licking everyone and everything(other fur residents) but she is not happy unless
she is kissy facing. She has a boo-boo on her eye that will need to be taken care of soon
but she lives every day like its a party, she is very spunky for her age! She has taken a
liking to Scrappy-Doo, now if any of you remember him he is quite handsome! She loves
to lick his face all day long! She was out in the yard today running like a puppy, I thought
she was gonna fall over but she held out and kept up with the one year old. So you should
hurry getting an application in for this sweet lady, or she'll be under someone elses
Christmas tree!
11/4/03-Hi Shadow here, I wanted to let everyone know I'm still here and waiting
anxiously! I keep having this wonderful dream that my forever family comes to pick me up
and my foster mom gets me all clean and pretty for them and I of course am so excited,
pheww, that was all in one breath! OK I've caught my breath now, also want to let
everyone know I really only weigh 59 lbs., my goodness give a lady a break with the
weight thing! The food here is really good but I've been watching and I think I know how
she does it, so dont worry I can teach you just how I like it! Well, it's kind of late had to
wait for everyone to go to bed before I could play with this puter thingy, hopefully my
foster mom will send new pics when she does her update. Hurry and get your applications
in, I'm waiting and hoping to be home for Christmas! :)
10/26/03 Shadow has been to the vet here and has a slight upper resp. infection so she
was put on some antibiotics. She is doing much better with her breathing now and seems
to be full of energy. They also gave her something for the stiffness in her back end and she
is getting around alot better. All these changes and she thinks she is 4 instead of 10!
Shadow loves everybody here human and dog alike, she has so much love to give and
many more years to give it! Dont let her age fool you! If your looking for that loyal
companion Shadow would be the one, her name says it all!!!
Shadow is a 10 yr old fawn and white boxer girl who has her ears cropped and tail
docked. She came into rescue due to her owner is too ill to take care of her any more and
did not want her in a shelter. Shadow is a very young 10 yr old and is very loveable and
playful. She loves walking and running in the yard and especially enjoys car rides. She is
getting along famously with the crew here and I think she is comfy already.
