7/15/03 Rocky has been adopted!

7/11/03 Rocky arrived at Reese's Pieces Foster home today and intro's are going very well.  I
don't think he's ever seen a kitty before as he is very interested.  When kitty doesn't run away
from him he thinks it very odd and can't quite figure it out.  Katie our little Cairn is learning that
Rocky wants to play (as he is still very much a puppy) but with the size difference she is a little
frightened.

7/11/03 Sorry for the lack of updates...it has been a busy summer and time managed to slip
away. Rocky is a great dog, sweet, loving, easy going and pretty low maintenance. Rocky just
wants someone to love him and be the center of his universe. You could not find a more loyal
companion. Rocky is well behaved and takes things as they come. He figured out real quick
that no one gets treats here unless they are sitting and his little tush hits the floor instantly. I
don't even have to ask! Rocky's worst habit is thinking he is allowed to go everywhere with
you, he has managed to get out the front door a few times. He doesn't run away, just wants to
be by your side even if it's only to get the mail. Rocky does very well with "come when called"
as soon as you say his name his drops what he is doing and comes running over to see what
you need. I must say I am very impressed!

He just as happy napping next to you as he is going on walks or playing in the yard. Rocky is
not crazy about the idea of having to be in his crate when I am not home, but he goes in easily
for a Liver treat. I have found that Rocky is much more comfortable in a wire crate than he is
a vari-kennel (plastic) one. Rocky is also fine with older kids (5 & up) he's just so darn
enthusiastic with that tail when we come home or visitors come over that he might accidently
knock a really little one down. I DO NOT mean by jumping either - people are greeted with
Wiggles and Wags. Rocky is looking for a special place to call his own could that be with
you?

6/18 Hi everyone,Rocky is doing great at his foster home. He's getting lots of
attention and exercise. He's a real gentleman.Rocky gets along with everyone  including other
dogs.He is wonderful with the kids, they all play together. He  is very affectionate and
lovable.Rocky would like a permanent home with lots of room to run and play.He would be
your best friend and give you lots of
kisses.

Rocky has arrived at SCBR thanks to one of our favorite shelters. He is a sweetie of a boy
and was very well behaved on the ride to meet his foster family. He was also quite fond of his
riding partner Duchess. Rocky is a 1 year 8 month old fawn boy with natural ears and a
natural tail. That tail of his goes a mile a minute and he is happy to see everyone! He's going to
make some lucky family very happy! Stay tuned for updates from his foster family once they
get to know him a bit better.
