11/22/03 Petey has been adopted!
10/25/03 It's Petey again;I forgot to tell everybody that I was not treated too good in
the past. I had my jaw broken and never had medical attention for it, that made my
bottom teeth crooked and even knocked a few teeth out, thats okay because I can
eat and chew my bones without them! And you can't even tell unless you pull my lips
back to inspect, like my foster mom seems to love to do to us all, she is always
checking our teeth! The vet told foster Mom it looks like someone gave me a swift
kick and did all that damage, but I am not going to tell. See, I just want to be loved
and I forgive the people in my past who harmed me because I am going to get a great
family to adopt me because of where I am now. I am still trying to put some more
meat on my bones so I better eat my dinner now. Are you going to come for me
soon, I would really like to spend the holidays with my forever family....
10/20/03 Hey, its Petey here. Everybody is busy here playing in the leaves outside. I
thought it would be a good time to come and put a plea out for my forever family to
hurry up and come get me! Everyone here is nice, well, my foster mom isnt nice
today because she cut my nails! I was scared but she did not hurt me but I am not
gonna tell her that! If you ever thought you could not have a dog because you are not
strong enough to wrestle with the big dogs I am the one for you! I can walk nice on
the leash and I really only need food, water and a cozy place to chew my bone.
Thats all I want! These other dogs here want to run around the yard and they are
always crying in your face with the rope toy! I dont mind being outside, dont get me
wrong but I only NEED to go out to go potty and I am quick about it. These pure
breed boxers here are High Maintance if you ask me, but not me, no sir! I just want
someone to love me. Well, gotta go before they miss me. Hope to here form you
soon so I have my forever family in time to share the holidays.
10/04/03 I would like to introduce to you, Petey. He has come to us with a name
given by the law enforcement officers that found him as a stray. I do not believe that
he could have been a stray too long because his manners are impeccable! He is
housebroken, good with cats and loveable. Petey has a tail which he prefers to curl
up at the top and it stays nicely out of the way! He does wag it to show how excited
he is to be waiting for his forever family to find him. Petey is not a high energy dog,
most likey due to being a boxer mix. He has soft brown eyes that will melt your heart.
He is just the right size, too. Petey has no problem keeping up with the others on a
walk or at play in the yard. He is a dog that would be suitable for someone with a
smaller house and/or yard because of his low energy level. He would love to curl up
with you and cuddle or just chew on his compressed rawhide. Petey will give you a
peronal update soon. Get your applications in because Petey is the kind of dog many
people are looking for!
