UPDATED 12/28/03 - Layla is adjusting to our busy household very well. She survived
a hectic Christmas season and loves the activities in the snow. She does well on car rides
and stays where she is supposed to be.
I just registered for obedience training even though she need little discipline and has good
house manners.
The kids love her although she can be overly protecive of them. She gets along with my
daughters Jack Russell like it is one of her own puppies. I have a large dog bed for Layla
and a very small one for Dolly (the Jack Russell). If Dolly lays down in Laylas bed and
falls asleep, Layla will curl up as small as she can and squeeze into Dollys bed. It is too
cute to see. I will update you next month on our obedience clases.

11/29/03 Layla has been adopted!

11/25/03  Layla is doing just terrific. She is such a friendly sweet little girl! I am sure she
has never been crated, and she does not like to be in the crate... but she does very well
outside the crate. She loves to snuggle on the bed at night or next to you on the couch (
as you can see from her photos!) Although she gets along well with the other dogs and
enjoys their company, I think she would do fine as an only dog in a home as well. She is
very self-confident.

11/22/03 Layla arrived this afternoon, special thanks to Terry for picking up a last
moment transport and to Lorelyn for holding her until I could pick this little girl up! Layla
is a tiny boxer girl...but don't tell her, she doesn't know! lol. She is so affectionate and
sweet. She is getting along fine with my boxers, both male and female, though she seems
to be a dominant female. For the long term, she will probably do best with males or shyer
females.
I will take some more photos soon, as you can see, she was all tuckered out from her big
adventure today!
