UPDATED 10/20/04 - Bella's new mom called me to tlet me know how well she is doing
and i wanted to share the good news. She is already sleeping witht the resident gigantic
siamese cast, and is not bothered by the heavy equipment in the back yard which is putting
in a new patio. No accidents sin the house, and
no tummy aches. Everyone is happy!
10/15/03 Bella has been adopted.
9/18/03 Bella seems to be backing down from chasing the cats a little, not completely but
better. Other than that she's just lovable sweet Bella hanging out here with Tigger. I'll let the
new pictures of her speak for me!!! Take a look at her ...she just wants a loving home to
call her own, forever.
7/26/03 Hello everyone, still hanging out out here at my foster home waiting for that
wonderful family to come get me!! It's coming soon I can feel it! I over heard my foster
Mom talking about someone who might be interested in adopting me, I guess I used to live
with him a long time ago, I wonder if I'll remember him. I hope he inquires about me, that
would be great!! Even though I know Tigger will miss me and I'll miss him, I would really
like to have a place to call home. :)
Those cat's I told you about last time, well they still don't want to play with me, I keep
trying and trying and they just want to scratch at me and run. So I cahse them and they go
and hide on me. That's no fun, I never find them.I guess the jokes on me, huh?
Well, it's bed time so I'll talk again later. Hopefully next time my foster mom will have some
great new pictures of me to show you how beautiful I am!!!
7/03/03 Hi everyone, I figured since my foster mom hasn't been doing any updates lately I
would sneak on the computer and make myself look great!!! I really, really, really would
like to find a new forever mom and dad to call my own!! Not that I don't like it here I just
would really like to get to that wonderful forever home soon, I'm getting pretty attached to
this guy (Brian, he comes home every night and plays with me and talks to me until I talk
back to him , I think he thinks it's cute when I do my little howl thing!! ( I guess it is kind of
cute though) Then the other boxer I live with , his name is Tigger and he likes to play and
he licks me like he's cleaning my face but I like it!!! Sometimes he likes to play on the bed
and I keep rolling all around so it's hard for him to get at me!!!hehe
Most of all though, there are these other crazy animals here too, I think they call them cats,
and I love to chase them, but sometimes the get mad at me , I don't know why, and they
try to scratch me, a couple times they got me good and boy does it hurt!!!! I guess they
don't know I just want to play. Tigger seems to leave them alone, I guess they don't like to
play!! Spoil sports I guess!!! Or just lazy, they just lay around all day and sleep. Oh and I
almost forgot, they say I am a much better walker than the other dog here, I think that
should account for something, don't you?!!!
Well, I have to go know, my foster dad (Brian) just came home and hes got some treats
for us, YEAH!!! Bye, I hope some nice family out there reads this and can see how
adorable and loving and playful I am and inquires about taking me home!! :)
5/26/03 - All is well here with Bella!! With the exception of the poor cats in the house. She
hasn't actually hurt them but she hasn't been able to catch one, I'm afraid what she might do
if she got a hold one one. Other than that she is doing fine. Likes to run around out back
and play with Tigger. She did have an accident in the house the other day , I'm not sure
why she had just been outside. I guess we'll watch her to make sure it's not a usual thing,
which it hasn't been, that is the first time since she has been here. I wish I could explain the
cute little talking thing she does, I've never seen another dog do this, it absolutely adorable!!
5/17/03 Hello- It's been two weeks tomorrow for Bella and she is doing great. she and
Tigger are playing together. However we have a definate cat issue!! She just isn't learning
to stay away and wants to chase them every chance she gets. She seems to be in great
health and looks wonderful for a six year old, she has just a touch of grey around her nose.
We hope to get her to the vet next week she just needs some stuff updated.
5/10/03 Bella is doing well!! She and Tigger are playing and getting along great. She has
this cute little thing she does with her mouth when she gets excited. It looks like she's
talking to you but no sound is coming out. She definately does not like cats, my older cat
today scratch her nose pretty good after Bella tried to go after her while she was eating!!! I
hope she learned her lesson cause that cat is king around here and can be pretty brutal!!!
Well, Monday we should have some pictures for all to see!!
4/27/03 - Bella has arrived at her foster home. She is a 6 year old brindle female with
cropped ears. Her owners decided to give her up because they are having a new baby &
moving soon. Bella was not treated too nicely by the current child in the house when she
was little & Bella has snapped some in self defense. The family now did not trust how she
would be with a new baby & felt she will do best in a home with no small kids. They say
Bella is a very lovable dog and very mellow & that she just wants to be petted and loved.
They are hoping for a new family that can focus on Bella & give her all that loving she
deserves & craves. Watch for updates & pictures soon from her foster home.
