UPDATED 4/20/04 - Bailey is doing well. He made new friends in the neighbourhood.
He loves to play with the others dogs. He needs a lot attention and call for it when he
wants! He is such a big giant puppy...Every hour, every single minute, he would like to
play... We buy a lot cottage cheese every week!!! It is his favorite dessert!
Everybody said that he is a beautiful dog, a very handsome dog...but who needs to calm
down just a little!
He had a lot picture of him! The picture travel all around the world to introduce him to my
family, and my relative never forget to ask : " How is the dog" or "kiss the dog for me"!
UPDATED 1/15/04 - Bailey is doing very well. After some very trying misbehaivure he
has turned a corner and now seems to be the obedient and well behaived dog we had
hoped for. He has graduated from his obedience training and done fairly well although
becomming impatient in the last half hour of class. Bailey is apparently very bright. If a toy
slid under the furniture he would sit and whine. I knelt down beside him to demonstrate
how to reach in and get it out and was amazed to find him beside me mimicking my
actions! He is turning into a very, very good dog.
UPDATED 1/13/04 - Bailey has done very well adapting tohis new home. He is very
bright and obedient(when he wants). We think hewill be the perfect dog once he has
matured a bit more. He has just begun clicker obediance training. It is hard to judge his
progress since it has only been one class in which he spent much of the time being
distracted by the other dogs. He desperately wants to have dog friends but his size and
looks seem to intimidate their owners and they pull away. I'm sure that in time they will
learn how sweet he really is.
